Some of the performers at tonight's Hot Stove Cool Music concert will only get a few hours to prepare for the show because they'll be chatting about Baseball at an afternoon roundtable. Among the speakers are Red Sox executive vice president/general manager Theo Epstein (below), ESPN correspondent Peter Gammons, Red Sox second baseman Dustin Pedroia, New York Yankees pitcher CC Sabathia, and Red Sox manager Terry Francona.
Tonight, Epstein and Gammons will share the bill with Letters to Cleo, the Figgs, American Hi-Fi, and others. Proceeds from both events benefit the Foundation to Be Named Later. The roundtable is 1-3 p.m. $100. State Street Pavilion at Fenway Park, 4 Yawkey Way, Boston.
The concert is at 7. $40. Paradise Rock Club, 967 Commonwealth Ave., Boston. www.hotstovecoolmusic.org
