FORT MYERS, Fla. (AP) - Jon Lester is among 19 players who have agreed to one-year contracts with the Boston Red Sox.
Lester's agent has been working on a long-term deal with the Red Sox, but the pitcher said Monday an agreement had not yet been completed.Others who agreed to one-year deals Tuesday included pitchers Michael Bowden, Clay Buchholz, Manny Delcarmen, Felix Doubront, Miguel Gonzalez, Devern Hansack, Hunter Jones, Wes Littleton, Justin Masterson and Ramon Ramirez; catchers Dusty Brown, George Kottaras and Mark Wagner; infielders Chris Carter, Argenis Diaz, and Jed Lowrie; and outfielders Jacoby Ellsbury and Jonathan Van Every.
